This website is operated by CGL (Compass Gate Logistics), a business name registered in Grenada. It is provided for general information, estimate requests and shipment tracking updates.
Estimates. Any quote, rate or timeline on this site is an estimate only. It is not a binding offer, contract or booking until CGL confirms the details in writing (for example by email or WhatsApp). Space, carrier acceptance and charges may change.
Our role. CGL arranges freight with third-party ocean and air carriers and agents. CGL does not claim to be a licensed freight forwarder. CGL does not file Customs entries, clear goods or act as a customs broker. Customs duties, VAT, port charges and broker fees are handled by the consignee’s appointed customs broker and the relevant authorities.
Tracking. Tracking data and ETAs may be supplied by carriers or other third parties. Information may be delayed or incomplete. This site does not guarantee arrival dates or cargo condition.
Dangerous and restricted goods. Customers must declare any dangerous, restricted or prohibited goods in writing before CGL accepts or arranges a shipment. Undeclared goods may be refused or delayed.
Charges (summary). Ocean or air freight is often payable collect at destination to the carrier or its agent. CGL’s local handling, documentation, admin and related service charges are payable to CGL in advance as quoted. Full payment mechanics will appear in our Terms when published.
Limitation (website). To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CGL is not liable for loss or damage arising only from use of this website, reliance on estimate or tracking information on this site, or third-party carrier/agent systems — except where liability cannot be excluded by law. This notice does not replace the terms of any confirmed booking or transport document. Full Terms of use will be published separately.
Partners. Carrier and agent terms also apply to the carriage they perform. CGL is not the vessel operator or airline unless expressly stated in a confirmed document.
Force majeure / disruption. Delays may occur due to weather, port congestion, carrier schedule changes, labour disruption, government or authority holds and similar events outside CGL’s reasonable control.
